Golf shoes?

i have just started golf and am wondering if you can walk on the path with golf shoes,i have to get out the car and then i get on the course, but in between getting out of the car and onto the course i have to walk on concrete.will the shoes be alright.

Golf shoes?
You will be fine the cleats will wear out faster but will still last a long time. Just get some shoes that have removable/changable cleats, so the actual sole will not wear out.
Reply:You will be fine. I do this all the time and mine are in good condition still and I played spring, summer, fall 2 times a week.

Make sure you get a pair that are waterproof.
Reply:YEAH.

YOUR SHOES WILL BE OK.

BUT JUST TO TELL YOU,

YOUR SPIKES WILL BE WEARING OUT MORE YOU WALK ON THE PATHS.

WALKING ON THE GRASS DOESN%26#039;T, BUT WALKING ON CONCRETE PATH WILL WEAR IT OUT.
Reply:Several of the courses in CT no longer allow metal spikes to be worn on the course.I now have Etonics with the serated sole which are fantastic and show little wear in four years and Footjoys where I have had two changes of spikes in two years. The spikes consist of tiny nubs which break off when climbing over rocks or gravel . These are a horrible design but are good on sloping surfaces.
Reply:yes, you will be okay when walking on pavement just don%26#039;t drag your shoes when walking ,and the cleats are replaceable.
Reply:You%26#039;ll be fine, keep an eye on your soft spikes and change them when you feel that you need to. I change mine about half way through the season.
