Golf shoes?

Hey golfers, I%26#039;m looking for some golf shoes. I%26#039;m going on the golf course next weekend and was wonder what kind of golf shoes you guys would recommend for the %26quot;pros%26quot;. I want to get the best there is, yet a reasonable price though.

Golf shoes?
Footjoy DryJoys Pro or the GF II are great shoes.
Reply:Best features of golf shoes are:

1. They have stiffer soles. If you walk the course for 18 holes this makes a big difference. I forgot my golf shoes and wore my doc martins and my feet were killing me.

2. They%26#039;re far superior at keeping your feet dry compared to regular shoes.

3. Better traction when you need it.

Footjoy and Nike make some good looking, cumfy shoes. I%26#039;ve seen some for as little as $50-$60.

Don%26#039;t buy anything used or hand-me-downs from a friend either. We%26#039;re talking about your feet here. Very important! Take care of them!
Reply:nike sp-8..there cheap there only 170
Reply:FJ%26#039;s, anykind.
Reply:sneakers are just fine, golf shoes are a bogus ripoff
Reply:foot joys are good and reasonableand golf shoes do help your game they keep your feet from slipping
Reply:any type of footjoys
Reply:Golf shoes can help your game, especially if the course is wet and in the sand. Go to you local sports store and try some on because just like regular shoes or sneakers you want to make sure you are comfortable. Nike makes some reasonably priced golf shoes (around 50 dollars) that should work just fine.
Reply:Golf shoes provide two main advantages over regular shoes. One, they spikes which help keep your feet anchored and thus help provide balance and stability during the golf swing. Two, they are generally waterproof to keep you feet dry when the ground contains moisture.

Apart from this, I would say the real key to finding ones that are the best for you is to find ones that are comfortable. Part of golf is walking 4 to 6 miles over a 4 hour period so it is very key to find something that doesnt hurt your feet. Everyone foot is different so try different brands to find the best comfort. Nothing could be more detrimental to your game than an uncomfortable shoe.

Otherwise, the amount of money you pay is like in any kind of shoe: the quality of the leather, the quality of the sole, the longevity of the material, alot of which contribute to how good looking the shoe is and not how it affects your golf game.

For me, I have always prefered Footjoy shoes from around 80 to 120 USD, or less if you find last years model on sale. I dont usually prefer Nike golf gear, but they have made a name for themselves making quality footwear so they are probably worth a look as well.
